With its focus on research and development, MOTORTECH takes the lead globally when it comes to efficient, economic and environmentally friendly configuration and optimisation of gas engines.

 
We are looking for a full-time experienced buyer (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

This is where your knowledge is needed

  • Contact person for all suppliers in the area of responsibility
  • Disposition and operational order processing of all items in the area of responsibility
  • Delivery date monitoring and checking order confirmations
  • Ensuring the availability of all parts within the area of responsibility
  • Master data maintenance on the planning and purchasing side
  • Product inquiries, price inquiries from specific suppliers for series parts and project parts
  • Preparation and conduct of price negotiations
  • Conducting regular supplier meetings and evaluations
  • Supporting purchasing management in sourcing of new suppliers

What you bring

  • Commercial vocational training, university studies or equivalent qualification (technically advantageous)
  • Several years of professional experience in purchasing
  • High willingness to learn and passion for purchasing
  • Organized and independent way of working
  • Good written and spoken English skills
  • Good MS Office skills, experience with proAlpha, SAP or another ERP system

Advantageous are:
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in supplier search and selection
  • First Management Experience
  • Experiences from the automotive industry
