This is where your knowledge is needed
- Financial reporting: Prep.of monthly, quarterly, a. annual financial statem. in accordance with various accounting standards (HGB, IFRS)
- Budget planning and control: developing budgets, monitoring expenditure, and performing detailed variance analyses
- Financial analysis: Analysis of financial data, preparation of target/actual comparisons, and identification of potential for improvement
- Risk management: Assessment of financial risks and development of strategies for risk minimization
- Liquidity management: Monitoring cash flows and ensuring the company's liquidity
- Support in decision-making: Advising the Mgm on financial issues and providing a basis for decision-making
- Business process optimization: Identification of potential savings and improvement of the efficiency of business processes
- Communication a. reporting: Prepar. of reports for mgm a. the executive board, as well as comm. with internal a. external stakeholders
- Cost analyses: Analysis of costs at product or location level.
- Project work: Participation in projects in the field of accounting and controlling
- Development of financial strategies: Development of long-term financial plans and strategies to achieve corporate goals
- Standard cost account analysis and reporting – experience of working with standard costings in a manufacturing environment
- Analysis of product and customer profitability
- Working capital analysis
- Responsible for management of a Controller
What you bring
- Business administration degree, ideally with a focus on controlling/accounting, and at least 5 years of professional experience in a relevant field, or comparable additional training as a controller or accountant (Bachelor Professional Accounting - Grade 6)
- Very good knowledge of ERP systems, Experience of working in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Independent and structured approach to work, with a strong focus on service and results
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a team, flexibility, and the desire to succeed and achieve high quality
- Confident in using MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel, fluent in spoken and written German and English
